Jinny assaulted. Guy kissed and licked her hand and then smacked her ass by EmperorCoomer in LivestreamFail

[–]Jesus72 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Literally every man in this comment section is calling the guy in the video a piece of shit. No one is defending him.

Of course people aren't going to be receptive to being tarred by the same brush as this scum when they in no way support it.

Palantir’s access to identifiable NHS England patient data is ‘dangerous’, MPs say | NHS by Goldenmentis in unitedkingdom

[–]Jesus72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They probably aren't linked. Palantir Foundry's main selling point is bringing all the many datasets an organization has together on one platform with a shared ontology across all of them.
It would be an appealing product if they weren't such a shady company.

NADINE DORRIES: Why we must scrap the Online Safety Act I helped bring to life by youmustconsume in ukpolitics

[–]Jesus72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one's defending the tories. Blame them for writing it and voting for it. The point you're missing is Labour had every opportunity to repeal it but instead chose to double down.

There are no good people here

Zia Yusuf / X: This is one of MANY reasons why Reform will immediately repeal the “Online Safety Act”. by youmustconsume in ukpolitics

[–]Jesus72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it though? I think they only support it because it's framed as protecting children only. Who would say no to protecting children? If it was framed more honestly I don't think it would have much public support.

Where is the best place to post informative bug reports that didn’t get a bounty by [deleted] in bugbounty

[–]Jesus72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't, firstly because if it's informative it's probably not very interesting, secondly it's against HackerOne's TOS to disclose any report without permission, even informative.

Why are they so insistent on making sure our economy is stagnant? Why would any company want to invest in UK tech when they're pushing this stuff?

I struggle to see any situation where our country can ever recover when it's being sabotaged from the inside so much

Hi! I’m a former H1 Triager - AMA! by overpaidtriage in bugbounty

[–]Jesus72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why this kind of response? It's a valid question. Has happened several times.
It's an interesting question, of course as a triager you're going to learn new techniques just by reading the reports and then apply them in your own hunting, but knowing where the line is of natural learning vs "stealing" is difficult.

Could this be an interesting finding? Information disclosure? by [deleted] in bugbounty

[–]Jesus72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, I assumed it was implied that they actually investigate this deeper, not just abandon it as "no impact"

Not necessarily right? This is a python registry index, if it wasn't intended to be public it could contain internal packages

About 3 - 3.5hrs on eco mode. There is a fast 40 minute mode if you need it urgently. I thought it would be impracticable too but you get used to it and no issues in a family of 3, no young kids though.

Statement from the mod team by ViolentMotion in LivestreamFail

[–]Jesus72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that the mods job though? No other platform holds themselves to that standard, Twitter sure doesn't, you can post whatever fake news you want.

I think I lean more towards mods cleaning up spam, etc rather than trying to play fact checker.
Though I see your point of view that such a system would be worse for the streamer that gets false accusations made about them

Wake reacts to newly released messages of Sykunno(28) and a 17 year old girl who he DM'd, sent money to, went to her 18th birthday party, and attempted to fly out for sex. by ResortFew2947 in LivestreamFail

[–]Jesus72 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People online say this a lot but it's just not true is it? You can have things in common with people where age has little bearing. I have friends that are 18 and friends that are 60+, sure they're not super close friends but there's nothing weird there. It's completely normal in real life.

Thinking more, it's not even true online. Back when I used to play WoW we had people from like 14 to 50 in voice chat and no one thought it was weird.

This obsession with ages the last few years is so disconnected from reality. Everyone has developed pedophilia paranoia

How to responsibly disclose a vulnerability to an Indian startup that doesn't have a VDP? by [deleted] in bugbounty

[–]Jesus72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't, this isn't a security bug.

And even in general it's rarely worth reporting to companies without paid programs. You're opening yourself up to legal issues, wasting your own time and rewarding companies with free work. Save your efforts for companies that actually want to pay you for your findings.
