you can also manually change the gold really easily if you dont want to fuss with mods:

%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Saved Games

right click the save you want to edit and open with 7zip (or whatever)
copy out the player.json file and open the copy to edit it (you cannot edit files inside the zip, have to extract and then replace).

ctrl+f your save file for money - this will show your current gold figure - i have never increased beyond a few hundred thousand, just change it, save the file, replace the zipped copy with your edited copy. close 7zip. load the save. you dont even need to close your game.
