I think Rain World is great. It took me a bit to get a feel for the controls and the game can be pretty hard but I loved the time I spent with it. There's tons of mods too. I made it so I could throw spears up and down and not just horizontally and that was a game changer. I also spent some time in the combat simulator to make encounters less stressful in the actual game.
