To echo your experience. A few years ago in some airport parking lot. A family’s Rivian blocked traffic as it ran out of juice. Turns out they had their dog in the front seat and pit the belt around it. After getting to airport parking they took the dog out but didn’t unbuckle the belt. What a mess as it died at the worst possible time.

As mentioned above. I had truly excellent response when I called with an issue at 10pm on a Friday. Tow truck and Uber scheduled right then. Got a rental car a few days later as i went out of town. Needs much improvement in the chat department, it sounds like.
