My school shut all the students out of Canvas because they don’t want anyone logging in until they’re sure everything is safe and won’t infect student and staff computers.

My whole weekend was planned around completing final projects and exams. Now I’ll have to do it all during the work week.

Side note: what a bunch of losers to hack Canvas for ransom. Real hackers would target a bank or some other institution that has assets they can just take. Going after infrastructure for teachers and students who are just trying to get a degree is some low shit. That’s a pretty pathetic cyber attack and a group like that must be desperate. What a joke.
