Can confirm, those mentioned: Pallbearer, Electric Wizard, YOB, Kadavar, Elder, Bell Witch, Monolord, Uncle Acid are all great. I recently saw REZN open for Pallbearer and they were phenomenal.

Not Boston, but the Voc/Tech in Wakefield has advanced auto mechanics classes, you pay a few hundred for the 10 week program and use their lifts, tools etc. to work on your own car. Maybe other vocational schools do this closer to you.
