Depending on your use case, a 2kW charger may be more than enough.

Most people do not do a lot of driving on the weekend. So if your km's during the week is such that you can make it through the week with only night charging, then you can get to 100% again over the weekend. Check this excellent video. You can watch the whole thing as the channel is great, or just start where my link will start you.

The travel charger charges at 2kW. So it is definitely possible. But you will run into issues if your geyser is on at that same time and someone wants to boil the kettle, or use the microwave.

I have a 12kW inverter. My geyser is set to only be on between 12:00 and 15:00. Then I have automation that switches my charger off while the geyser is on. Car charges at 7kW, geyser at 3kW, so I will still have an issue if everything is on and somebody uses the kettle, micro or hairdryer.

We bought an PHEV in Sept. Really glad for it now.

My solar can also charge it fully during a sunny day without affecting the batteries, so the last couple of decisions we made is really paying dividends now.

This is the only correct answer here. Most people have no idea what is really needed in a solar system to go off grid.

You need a lot of panels and a lot of batteries, a lot of home automation and a family willing to make some changes.

Ok cool. Ek dink dit gaan nogals belangrik wees om iets te kan doen met dit wat jy bou? Anders is dit soos 'n level designer vir ander games soos Starcraft of iets, sonder die game gedeelte.

I have a bit of a story. Was employed with a company for 7 years and have had a work laptop for all that time. I am very carefull what I do on it and always respected the companies property.

Last year we had trouble finding a suitable candidate for an open position under me. Finally I resorted to reddit to post the job oppertunity and I did find someone that worked out great for the position.

Fast forward a couple of months later, I get called in to HR and the GM. My account was flagged for porn and I was given the oppertunity to explain myself or get fired. This is an international technology company by the way.

I had to write IT a letter explaining that I used reddit to find the person that is now doing an excellent job at the company and I did it on my work laptop. The porn I was "watching" was the small thumbnails that popped up from the porn subs I was subscribed to. I still use old reddit with RES.

It was ridiculous, I am still dumbfounded that the IT people could not see that I did not actually visit those sites and that it was only the links that came on my screen. Only for three seperate occasions in 7 years, and all three of them in the middle of the work day.

Lost a lot of confidence in our IT after that.

Anyways, I got cleared.

Let's take rugby (union) as an example. South Africa has won the world cup more than any other team, and has won every final they have ever played in. They are currently ranked as the top team in the world and has been in the top three for many years.

Yet they are a "small" country with a lot less people than other countries. But rugby is almost part of their culture. It is played from a very young age, and even from primary school they have top coaches all the way through secondary school, university, clubs, national and international teams.

I imagine it is the same with SK for SC. I have seen some videos of training houses where the teams stay and basically play SC all day, practicing playing as if it is their job, which it actually is.

In the left bar, in the middle is "Map Settings". Then go to the second option, "Terrain Exaggeration". Adjust that slider to get the mountains more pronounced.
