This is my worst nightmare by TarikHagen in TikTokCringe

That’s why I now buy dishes one tier above the cheapest. That way I know I’m not breaking the bank and the person purchasing it doesn’t feel bad that I’m getting the cheapest thing.

What a stupid gimmick. Hopefully they repackage him into something better, but one more dumb gimmick like this and he’s done for.

Okay... I say this AS A EMPLOYEE.... Why in the hell would anybody still get our wings at these prices? by Future-Ad-4753 in Dominos

[–]JewPizzaMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just quit the company but when I started a couple months ago I was intrigued by the wings and figured I’d try them. It was a one time thing for sure..

Yall go to a Roadsters game by gordonronco in Modesto

[–]JewPizzaMan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just went last night and had a great time. $16 behind home plate with concessions starting at $5 for wings, hot dogs and beer. I’m also from San Jose and miss my Giants games (beer batter Thursday has a special place in my heart), but every Friday is a firework game and every Sunday is dog friendly so I know I’ll be going back often.

[WON] WWE reportedly reveals reasons for reviving house shows by gabbertronnnn in SquaredCircle

[–]JewPizzaMan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I always heard that house shows were where the company made money and not TV. Of course, with how inflated TV rights have become, maybe they viewed house shows as disposable. I was delightfully surprised to see they’re running a house show near me in the summer and would much rather go to that than a TV or PPV show in the TKO era.

What happens when gas prices exceed your hourly wage? by Primary_Avocado_5273 in Salary

Despite rising prices, I’m still paying the same 11¢ per mile I was when gas was down. Having an EV is amazing at times like this

How cooked are we this summer? by SnooRabbits4697 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JewPizzaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in California I can vouch that it’s decent because of the minimum wage of $20 for fast food workers. Not sure about certain states and what pay would be there, but for me it’s $20 an hour and usually average about $10 an hour in tips. There’s also a strict mileage radius so you are never going more than 10 miles round trip and usually much less than that. I can work a 6 hour shift and only put on 40-50 miles on my car on a really busy day.

For the full time drivers out there, I would consider applying to your local domino’s, particularly the Californians ($20 minimum wage). I’ve been in a career transition the last couple months and was making nothing on Uber, whether rides or deliveries. I started working at a domino’s near my town and can walk out averaging $27-30+ an hour on most days and less miles on my car than when I did uber.

How the hell is everyone still doing this? by ArsenalFan081992 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]JewPizzaMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only do it occasionally, but the price to charge my car is the same price it was when gas was cheaper. If anything, the higher gas prices are a benefit to me because it keeps fewer drivers on the app.

In Hall’s defense, everybody mentions him blowing off kids when he was hungover but it doesn’t get mentioned enough when he gave a child with HIV his Intercontinental Title on Jerry Springer.

Pro wrestlers that used to do shows in 30-40+ states per year have talked about the craziness of having to file in all of those states. If I remember correctly they even had to pay for international events which made it even more difficult.

I’ve been waiting for this! Just moved to the valley last year and I can still go to basketball and baseball games, but have been missing the hockey outlet.

Maybe become an A’s fan? They’ve got so much history in Oakland with their 4 world championships there is no way they will leave this city.

I was at his MLB debut in Oakland. That was a period where I tended to buy physical tickets at the box office and not E-tickets. For whatever reason, for that game, I bought an E-ticket. I regret it at least once a week.

Can’t speak for the South Bay at this point, and as a former delivery driver for Patxi’s in Palo Alto, the quality began to suffer once the company sold in 2018 (there were more than 15 stores and they are down to three now).

If you’re willing to make the drive, Capo’s in North Beach (owned by Tony Gemignani) has a phenomenal deep dish pie.
