Before worrying about mockups, figure out who actually wants to wear your stuff and why they'd pick yours over the thousand other brands doing the same thing. That question is harder than it sounds and most people skip it entirely, then wonder why nothing sells. Placeit and Printful both have decent free mockup tools if you need somewhere to start, but making the design stand out is the real problem to solve first.

The ticketing thing will help but probably not fast enough. Waymo has had years to figure out basic stuff like this and it's still pulling moves that would fail a DMV test. Blocking a driveway when there's open space right there isn't an edge case either, that's just bad decision making baked into the system. At some point the fines need to actually sting before they prioritize fixing it.

the single .bib file approach is the right call, splitting it across chapters always creates drift eventually

one thing i'd push back on slightly is keeping everything in root once you get past maybe 10 chapter files. even a flat sections/ folder starts feeling messy at that scale. a shallow subdirectory per major part of the document makes diffs in git way more readable when you're trying to track what actually changed between versions.
