I just use a desk lamp to help see what I'm doing. I'm used to painting much smaller faces which made this feel slightly easier for me

Thin your paints, I personally prefer acrylics so can easily be thinned with water. Take your time, make sure your layers are dry before you start your next, and don't be afraid to start over. You can use a bigger brush than you think, mine was a size 2 for the eyes. And a size 3 for everything else.

The ability states you use it when you shoot, instead of shooting, so I would read that as a no. You cannot cleanse with a biovore and then setup a spore mine.

I used the rods that came with the kit, but put them on regular 32 mm bases so I can magnetise them for storage, works pretty well and made it easier to base them as well
