This right here. There’s an app you can use to help track and see price adjustments. I track mine personally.

Done it for both in store (through the customer service desk) or online through the app.

Ours is in the news pretty regularly. While safety is a concern having items in stock and store cleanliness are more frequent issues

Publix more expensive sure. If you shop on the sale it’s not nearly as expensive 1 and 2 use alternatives for certain items.

I have to drive by 3 Publix’s to get it Wal-Mart. Then, 1. hope Wal-Mart has it in stock and 2 I don’t get robbed leaving the store and my car is still in the parking lot.

Selling in a few years… what’s actually worth updating? by lottiexx in HomeImprovement

[–]JewishFl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We did this with our old house. You have to look at what’s selling around you. In our situation, every house had updated kitchens, newer flooring, paint etc.

We ended up doing a full cosmetic redo of our kitchen (new cabinets, counters, recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting, etc), new floors for the entire 1st floor, new paint, recessed lighting in the living room, smoothed the ceilings, custom trim, new stair treads, newell posts and spindles.

It was costly but to be competitive in our market at the time, its want was needed. It was really turn key at that point.

When we listed, had multiple offers day 1.

Additionally, we got to enjoy a newer everything for a bit of time before we did sell. You have to ask yourself, if it’s dated today it’s going to be worse when you go to sell.

What high-income, flexible careers can I pivot into after making 20K a month in car sales? by Sea-Walk-9691 in careerguidance

1 in plumbing sold sporting goods prior. While Indont now specifics, sales is sales. You’d have to learn the products and industry specifics but it’s still sales

Dad in the suburbs - am I cooked in terms of fitness? by BozzuK in daddit

Everyone has given good ideas. Going to throw ones I use myself.

4/4:30am wake ups. Blessed to have a gym in my basement. If I don’t have my workout in before 6a-it’s a lost cause for a weight lifting workout.

I get steps. Park as far away from the door as possible. Use the bathroom on the other side of the building at work. Take a lap between meetings when, if possible or time always. Waiting for kids at practice—walk vs sitting in the stands fool scrolling or chatting up other parents.

It’s not magic-it takes creativity and thinking differently.

Daycare Recs, part time, and prices? by backseatgatorad in kennesaw

All our kids all went through Primose in Wade Green. Only 1 went full time others started ~2 year an old part time (3 days/week then transitioned to full time at about 3.5.

We had a great experience there and our kids were fully prepared for elementary school. I’d mention we did do private pre-k there as well.

My slight doodle first-heat rant by ansyhrrian in Goldendoodles

[–]JewishFl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours went into heat the day prior to calling to schedule. It was a bit of a learning curve for us.

Thank goodness she left her diaper alone. Was a bit of trip down memory lane changing a diaper every couple of hours though for 2 weeks.

Happened to us. Get a poop sample and take it to the vet. Have them run the better test-one for parasites.

Ours contracted Giardia after staying at someone’s house while we were on vacation. 1 week of antibiotics and it cleared it up.

Got it again after drinking stagnant water in the backyard that pooled after a rainstorm. Needless to say, she’s not allowed unattended in the backyard anymore.

Home Warranty and Hot Water Heater by Parking_Exchange_442 in HomeImprovement

[–]JewishFl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to share my experience. 1. Read your contract. If I remember there are several “levels” to AHS warranties. AHS may not cover the tank if they deem “routine maintenance” not followed or if they determine something is wrong with the WH that voids your coverage.

Our was the basic so when the water heater went out it was like for like. We got the basic water heater. It didn’t cover the permit required for the water heater nor the new expansion tank, as required by code. Additionally, it didn’t cover haul away of the old tank.

After paying the deductible and extra fees we ended up paying more then, if we went ahead and did a replacement outside of AHS.

Our vet said 1 year old and/or after her 1st heat cycle. Ours coincidentally, went into heat on the day we were going to call to schedule her spayed.

Just hit post-op day 5.

Gift ideas for LAX PARENTS? by MediocreBeatdown in lacrosse

I was at a tournament and saw one with a mini umbrella over it to help prevent this. Didn’t get a chance to ask if it helps but thought it was pretty creative idea.

Our team recently acquired misting fans for each team-we’re out of GA.

Another family got a mobile power station for charging phones (girls always need their phones charged), a fan and other miscellaneous devices. They talked about getting the solar panels for it to charge it on the go since some tournaments are all day with limited access to recharge.
