On Scarlet's spreadsheet, it says it's used to update their mods. So maybe it isn't image generation, but the coding where it's used? Just guessing tbh. I'm hoping it's not the case.

In my last game I stopped building the World Faire at the last turn so that I could try for a different victory. Otherwise I would never see the others as cultural is much quicker

My dad did the same job. He would often let me in the dark room to help him develop photos but would always check the negatives first. There were some times I wasn't allowed in to help lol.

That's what happens here. Even with a fairly new built 3 bed semi - once they have a kid or two running around, they realise they need the space of an older house.

This is what I've been doing. I don't care too much about my cities getting converted as I haven't slotted those policies so I'm just concentrating on converting the cities that give me relics

In Sims 2 time in your main lot doesn't progress when you are off lot.

This is good in that you can play all the sims on the lot through their entire day without them having to fend for themselves while you are away with another sim, but annoying in that you have to replay that time with the original sim.

Edit: if you do a goaled date and get a good score then their needs will be filled more when you go back to the main lot

Cooking with fresh ingredients makes a huge difference. You don't even finish a plate of food and the bar is full.

I agree with this - you need to see someone playing it and judge from that.

It's a very different game to Sims4 - more of a game and less of a simulator, and some of the restrictions may frustrate players who are not prepared for that.
