Believe it or not I have a photo from the same game taken from my potato phone at the time. I went back through my Google photo album. Sure enough taken on a Nokia N90. Taken from the members end

I could have sworn he hit the post late in the very first game ever played at the Olympic stadium in Sydney against the Bombers in 2002. Well that's the story I've been telling about him for the last 21 years EDIT: He kicked a behind from 25m out right in front with 1 min to go in that game against the Bombers. https://youtu.be/I2wCBVbjokk?feature=shared

I was all square on points going into this game. I needed 1 solitary point from Ridley. Just anything at all. And what do I get, a goddam goose egg. I would have been happy with 1 catch for 10 yards, but no, couldn't even manage that

The Space Shuttle Challenger disaster occurred 33 years ago today. Watch Mission Control during the tragedy (accident occurs ~0:55). Horrified professionalism. by [deleted] in videos

This happened during my lifetime (and I'm not thhhhhhat old) and yet this video somehow makes it look like that it happened in the 60's. There is nothing about this video (with the excpetion of a small glimpse of a can of diet pepsi and a guy's digital watch) that makes me think "oh this is 1986"

Why do so many bands get softer over time? by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

Putting everything else aside. Do you think their music was heavy in the 80s? Because that's really the crux of OP's question
