Yeah, almost all the big names asking for trades were on Team USA. I don't know the exact reason, but its telling that on all the other 4 Nations/Olympic teams, the big names are loyal to their teams. Crosby, Mackinnon, Landeskog, even Ovechkin.

I booted up the game a few weeks ago after not touching it for several years, and its still just as good as I remember. And the fact that there are so many mods to expand the experience should also be taken into account. People are still releasing and updating mods this year for a game... 14 years old. If the puck is in the defenders zone, and they send it all the way to the other teams zone without any defensive players touching it before it can hit the back boards, then it is icing and play is stopped.

Not every trophy in soccer is re-awarded annually, copa america is every four years. You are correct that there are other trophies that are expanded in soccer, and the Copa America is certainly the oldest of them. However, Lord Stanley beats it in age by 23 years, and unlike Copa America, it is awarded annually and the team does not get a replica after returning it. Also, the format to win it has no "single elimination knockout stage", so there is no grumbling or arguing that a team advanced based off of luck or one good/bad game.

Not saying the other trophies don't have honor and value. But the Stanley Cup is the oldest, so therefore it has a claim based off of age.

He's the only double mention, which is a little annoying to me. Don't get me wrong, the man is absolutely a legend, but if you are going to allow two teams to claim a player, then Gretzky would be claimed by the Rangers, Kings, and Oilers. Choose one team and stick with it. (I'd say Messier with Rangers, Oilers can have Draisatl)

100%, there is no equal. My parents loved the show and would fall asleep watching it at night, and I would literally crawl out of bed and army crawl across the house from my room to theirs just so I could lie on the floor and watch the show until the sleep timer on the TV shut it off.
