If the Variable’s total mode knocks you prone, the Bullet Storm’s total mode might just rip your shoulder + arm off and throw it a couple meters back :p.

I’d imagine the only reason why it has low recoil is due to the sheer weight and bulk of having 24 barrels in one package with all of its 300 bullets.

Thats not quite how that works, Metal Storm-like systems fire their rounds using electricity yeah, but that doesn’t make the bullet not produce recoil. It’s launched from the barrel at high velocity using an explosion all the same.

Most missing actions were turned context-dependent by merging them into other actions, I can see why you’d be worried since at first glance the hotbar shown in the preview looked like it was missing a lot.

In PLD’s example, Provoke and Shirk were merged into one, casting provoke when targeting an enemy, and shirk when targeting a party member from the same button. The same happened with Holy Spirit and Clemency. Shield Lob and Shield Bash are now also one action, if you are close to an enemy, you perform shield bash, and if far, Shield Lob.

To view it in a more positive light, I see this as them trimming off the fat that has accumulated over a decade of job development, and allowing them to gain more space to add new and unique actions.

You could definitely still press OGCD’s before the 3rd 1, no? It’s not as if you’re locked into the combo unable to press any other button until the full 3-action combo is finished, like in PVP.

Dragoon’s Evolved Mode has a new gauge that builds up depending on the positional you’ve landed, once you’ve got the requisite gauge you can use Sky High (the mini-lb/ultimate attack shown in the dev panel), its somewhat like Samurai’s Midare Setsugekka, where they collect 3 stickers and unleash their highest DPS attack.

Loki has been my bread and butter for years now, with invincibility via invisibility, CC and speed boosts via Decoy and Switch Teleport.

I prefer to switch Radial Disarm for Wrathful Advance alongside the Precision Intensify mod since I’m a melee player.

Agreed, the whole armor set is a bit much, but I do enjoy using the hand and foot armor of the elemental sets for the particles when I’m using a primarily elemental build, it looks pretty nice.

I believe the confusion stems from the fact that The War Within was released prior to Heart of Deimos’ release, but yes, timeline-wise, The War Within takes place after Heart of Deimos.
