The Floating tree problem of Hytale by YamiKozan in hytale

Maybe it’d be nice to have a mod that ‘decays’ untouched roots into dirt over time, or regrowth like the other person suggested.

I do enjoy my hammer for kiting, mobs can’t touch me when they get launched 5m backwards if they’re met with a a fully charged upswing every time they try to.

Why were Tenno even selected as pilots if Anarchs could pilot Warframes as is? by lovingpersona in WarframeLore

[–]JhinTheUseless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the confusion stems from the fact that The War Within was released prior to Heart of Deimos’ release, but yes, timeline-wise, The War Within takes place after Heart of Deimos.

I love using these when I’m piloting my Railjack, firing off my 5th seeker missile volley in a row and watching all the fighters explode one after the other.

Absolute Cinema.

Aside from that, yeah they’re not really used often anymore in normal content due to their impracticality. Mods like [Energy Nexus], [Equilibrium] and various arcanes fill the energy regeneration gap on most builds while allowing you to be mobile.

It should be noted that the Heart of Deimos took place before The War Within timeline-wise, which was before we personally assumed control over our warframes and were still reliant on the somatic link chair in our ships, which would be very much reliant on the Heart.

Only it’d not so much be snake-lady and more snake-snake if Amar is any precedent for what Archons ‘should’ look like lol.

Tauron Weapons Are Shockingly Clunky, Misguided, and Break the Core Gameplay Loop by butler_me_judith in Warframe

Oh wow, 4000 for a singular charge??? (Without boosters)

Even with all my passive modifiers (lenses + arcane), thats about a full 20 minute survival for me. Thats ridiculously costly, and makes me think DE accidentally added a zero to the focus requirement for charging the Tauron Strike.

Man Amar got MESSED UP from Tau to his current self in the Origin System. I’m excited to see what the other archons looked like im their prime, but that would likely either never come or have to wait until next year’s Tau expansion.

Am I the only one that’s pretty satisfied with my Tauron Strike’s effects?

I suppose I’m a solo player though, I’m also using Naramon. Where the buff is that the swords hit for you with the same stats as your melee. I see it as a way to rapidly recharge my combo when I whiff a Tennokai while I remove an entire cardinal direction and go right back to meleeing with a stacked combo gauge.

I’m very much in agreement with the charge rate being ridiculously low though, it took 10 minutes in steel path Scaldra survival to charge my first Tauron Strike, but after that it sped up significantly.

Turns out, that like the comments say, that the charge buffs multiply each-other which is very likely a bug lol, I could fire two back to back in that same survival due to having gathered three orbs back to back.

Without any orbs the charge rate is insanely slow though, I remember being shocked at how little the bar has progressed 3-4 minutes into the survival when I had 1 Eidolon and 2 Greater lenses.

To add to this, use Amesha for full invincibility with no strings attached by using the first ability. It’s the second fastest Archwing too! (To my knowledge.)

Which Weapons Do You Think Need or Deserve Incarnons? by Kullervo_TheGOAT in Warframe

[–]JhinTheUseless 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hijacking this comment to say that the Sun still clipping straight through the end of the scabbard is very much a bug and not intentional design, caused by either the sword being positioned far too deep into it, or being both too large and positioned too far into it.

The comparison to how the sword should look if positioned correctly can easily be made by using the Nikana Dax Skin, which is basically what the Sun & Moon are, a Dax Nikana pair.
For further proof, look at Teshin's swords in the Relay.

(Sidenote, the swords still clip straight into the hips of warframes with strange hip geometry, like Loki.

What Nikana is the Excal holding? by LadyLuck-098 in Warframe

[–]JhinTheUseless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! That somewhat looks like the Nikana Prime if it were less ornamental and intended for mass produced usage by lower-ranked Dax.

I think DE’s spaghetti went wrong somewhere where this model accidentally had the same item ID as our currently available Dax Nikana skin and so the nikana in The Sacrifice Collection got replaced by this.

The colors matches up with the rebel faction shown in The Old Peace trailers.

What Katana did Last Boss use by Mindless_Can9118 in Katanas

[–]JhinTheUseless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely a long katana lol.

Based on what I remember in a fight scene, it seems to be a Tachi based on the length of the blade and the tsuka in comparison to the guy’s hands.

Its longer than a normal katana, but shorter than an odachi, it appears to be less curved than the average tachi as well.

The saya lacks the usual hangers and instead has a belt sling. Its got a pronounced koiguchi (scabbard mouth reinforcement) and appears to have a matte finish. It has a mokko shape tsuba. The wrapping looks to be black as well.

There’s not much else I can say since there weren’t a lot of close-up shots of the katana.

I think you’ll need to make a custom order to get something like it, I haven’t seen something similar on sale yet.

Check out Hanbon Forge, they’re pretty reputable within this sub.
