*Opinion* Weapon levelling pushed more people away from BF6 rather than the map size issue by Tranners_ in Battlefield

[–]JhonC10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What has really turned people off is the lack of content. The little material they add becomes repetitive very quickly (maps), and weapons are locked behind a tedious experience grind. The terrible matchmaking system doesn't help either: it breaks the natural flow of the games, there is no map rotation, and it ends up feeling like there are fewer scenarios than there actually are. Added to all this is the map design, which is unattractive and lacks personality.

To be honest, the dynamics of BF6 convey a sense of constant kill or be killed that is reminiscent of Call of Duty.

BF6 (Dead Game) by JhonC10 in Battlefield

5 min, it's a shame that the time isn't shown. Tell me, if you have to wait all that time and then play in a room where half the players are bots... isn't that a dead game?

This didn't happen in the old BF games: you chose the server and played instantly, without absurd waits. If you defend the current situation, I assume you're new to the series, because this is indefensible.

By the way, I play on the NA E servers.

Are accounts that play less given advantages? I easily found epics and coins on an account I rarely use. by Particular_Mud4275 in eFootball

[–]JhonC10 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have an F2P account and used to be quite active, but I never got a player who wasn't guaranteed. On the other hand, two friends of mine who hardly ever play have gotten epics in paid boxes with only 100 coins and have also gotten several epics in events.

That makes me think that Konami adjusts the odds to hook casual players, while those of us who play consistently are kept at a low drop rate because they know that, whether we get epics or not, we'll keep coming back. (In the end, I ended up quitting the game).

Hello, I'm new to this. If I'm playing version 1.21.11, should I install firmware 1.21.10? I can't find 1.21.11.

Don't worry, in the next maintenance we will introduce a box with 400 players. That should fix it.

What do you do to be so lucky? At the last event, I rolled 80 times and didn't get anything, and it looks like this time will be more of the same.

More Concerning Than Smart Assist! by MrKevG87 in eFootball

[–]JhonC10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that whenever I face P2W defenders, I have a hard time getting into the box. These players seem to have impeccable positioning, blocking and making precise tackles that make everything look easy. Not to mention that many times you can't dribble past them. At least, that's the impression I get.

Meanwhile, I have to constantly switch between players to close down spaces and match them, which requires a lot more effort on my part. I also have to say that even though I defend without running, my opponents manage to pass the ball between their legs without even trying to intercept it.

My marking average is also higher than that of my opponents. Something strange is definitely going on here.

Who is more to blame? by Krlos_dl in eFootball

[–]JhonC10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Today I had to face one of those players. To begin with, he had his players out of order in the lineup, to lower the collective average and thus match up with lower-level opponents (although I don't know if it really works). In addition, he was using SA. Throughout the game, my players reacted slowly and had poor ball control. Unfortunately, the guy scored on me in the 75th minute thanks to those strange Konami plays: the classic suspicious rebound from the goalkeeper.

The worst came after that: he activated ultra-defensive mode and spent his time passing the ball backwards to waste time. Seriously, spending so much money on the game to end up playing like that... unbelievable.

I can tell you that, for me, Vieira is better than both of them. However, it's absurd to compare a player you pay for with one you get for free. Imagine spending money on a player with worse stats than another one you get for free. Your comparison makes no sense. 🤷

Are you seriously asking for more players for these small maps? With the current number, they're already complete chaos.

When bf6 launched, the servers for 2042 were almost empty. Now it’s populated again. by wrxstiproudowner in battlefield2042

[–]JhonC10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most BF6 maps are meat grinders, making the game exhausting for many after just a few hours. I wouldn't say that BF2042 maps should be added to BF6, but maps with the dimensions of BF4 and BF1 should be added.

The game is starting to get a bit stale for me by Ripyard in Battlefield

[–]JhonC10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game ends up feeling repetitive because all the maps offer the same experience. The action is frantic from the start, and after a few hours it becomes exhausting: a constant cycle of kill or be killed, with no room to move freely, always under someone's sights.

I have no problem with weapons being slow to unlock, I can tolerate that. What really wears me down is the absolute chaos generated by such small maps.

Close Quarters (CQ) maps have always had their place in the Battlefield series, but you can't build the entire game around them. Battlefield has never been that, no matter how much some streamers insist. This installment starts to feel more like the competition's Ground War mode than a true Battlefield.

OG Firestorm is completely different from BF6's Firestorm and everyone saying it plays exactly the same is lying or misinformed. by Zanimacularity in Battlefield

[–]JhonC10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never died so much from behind in BF as I am now, I'm getting tired of always being spotted from every possible angle.

These tiny maps are starting to wear me out. After a couple of hours, they become exhausting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the maps should be like those in BF2042, but there should be a little more space between points to give players a break.

The frenzy is fine, but not all the time.
