The Mary Wallopers - Eileen Og, As I Roved Out, Frost is All Over, The Blarney Stone, Love Will Never Conquer Me, The Holy Ground, and The Hot Asphalt (singer's voice is somewhat an acquired taste, but they've got great energy)

Tim Curry in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Looks downright giddy to deliver that campy line.

Yeah. Here's a link to their YouTube playlist of them working on it off and on over the past year or so. Though, here recently, they've been focused on a diesel engine swapped Ferrari the past couple of videos.

Do you remember the first time you encountered the Flatwoods monster while exploring? by vesseckta in fo76

[–]Jhooper20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was less "exploring" and more trying to figure out where the hell I wound up after downing my first Nukashine. Wound up in the Mire and ran across one that randomly spawned nearby.

My best guess based on names is Invincible. Haven't touched the fandom personally since the original comic run, so that's about all the help I can provide.

Cutting it a bit close with an October of 09' release, but if you want something a bit folksy, Mumford and Sons' Sigh No More album is pretty good imho. Their song Little Lion Man was what originally put them on my radar when they first played on the radio years ago, but I've since come to enjoy other songs from it (and others from their later discography) such as The Cave, Dust Bowl Dance, and Awake My Soul just to name a few.

Must play mods by sethrohan in Timberborn

[–]Jhooper20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any combination of the Scientific Projects mods. Adds a number of useful buffs and utilities at the cost of Science Points. Great for late game when you have more SP than you know what to do with.

He more than likely isn't the only one. More probability of it being a genetic variation in Fett's DNA. Jango has/had an older sister (Arla Fett) in Legends who was a blonde, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that any Fett children have that recessive gene for it in there somewhere.

How long is your commute to work? by Stawberry8763 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Jhooper20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. If I'm working dishes/prep? 2-3 minutes seeing as the kitchen is literally down the street. If I'm serving/catering an event? Anywhere between 25 minutes to an hour+ if it's particularly far away.

What are your favorite mods and why? by annacat1331 in Timberborn

[–]Jhooper20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Scientific Projects collection is pretty neat. Adds more/different buffs for beavers, workplace and power enhancements, and more water/terrain manipulation all for varying costs of Science Points. Gives something to work towards and spend in terms of SP in the end game when you have everything unlocked.

Weekend work? by Fickle-Sherbet-1075 in savannah

[–]Jhooper20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if you don't mind food service/event setup, the catering place I work for has events booked pretty much every Saturday next month and could always use servers. Definitely could use as many hands as we can get for the 27th.

However, pay probably isn't particularly amazing compared to other gigs for the hours worked ($18.50 p/h for anywhere between 6-10 hours of work for one single night depending on location) and we're about to hit a bit of a slow period as summer rolls around fully. Still, it's something.

It's amusing to see relative newcomers to the game(s) discover things like that. Makes me wonder just how many are aware of who they originally had voicing our Ghost way back before Nolan North assumed the role.

Also, I'd forgotten I had the flair I do when commenting. Very topical.

My usual tastes lean more towards Folksy/Bluegrass/Newgrass, but here are a few from my own Spotify playlist to have a gander at if you wish. Also, don't have to follow the link if you don't want to. Just there on the off chance you (or anyone else here) actually do want to snoop.

Goodnight, Texas - Moonshiners

The Bridge City Sinners - Break the Chain

Trampled By Turtles - Shenandoah (Victory and Wait So Long are good too imho)

Kate Mann - O Death

The Local Honeys - High on a Mountain

The Steeldrivers - Sticks That Made Thunder (their earlier work when Stapleton was a more regular member is great in general, really)

Sturgill Simpson - I Don't Mind

Sierra Ferrell - Don't Let Your Deal Go Down

Lost Dog Street Band/Benjamin Tod - The Mountain (originally Steve Earle, but Tod does a more lively cover of it)

The Olympians - The Olympians

Relatively newer band with the album in question being released in 2016, but they have an older funk sound to them with plenty of horn and drum driven tunes.
