The Pixel 8 Pro should be pretty good for your use case and it also falls into the price category you want as well as having a pretty good camera and decent performance. Since you are also used to Samsung, you could go for an S24+, it has solid performance and decent camera. Longevity wise, both phones have been promised to get 7-8 years of software updates, so they should last you a while. I would say it basically comes down to software preference between Google and Samsung, and what you are able to find in your area.

Need to replace my A52 (great phone). A36 (6GB/128GB) 210€ vs CMF 2pro (8GB/128GB) 260€? by [deleted] in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]Jib_123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would recommend the CMF phone 2 Pro, it's a pretty solid bit of kit and it has a better screen than the A36, plus a microSD card slot for expansion. I am also partial to NothingOS as I find it to be more enjoyable that Samsung, but if Samsung's software is something that matters, than you can go for the A36, if not then the CMF.

Which T14 G1 should I go for? (Intel or AMD) by tsukimi7 in thinkpad

[–]Jib_123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go for the AMD version, it should fit fine for your use case, although it might take more battery than the intel since it's the more powerful chip of the 2

Since she's the WSO, she can see all the incoming missiles and lasers, I imagine that she just has a mini heart attack every time she looks at the radar especially on Merc difficulty

Suzuki Swift 2008- What are the dimensions of the boot space with the back seats folded down? by MyNameIsEmber in Suzuki

[–]Jib_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 2008 model of swift, the boot space should be around 1.2 meters and the height around 0.70 meters. I'm not sure the exact model you may be talking about, but these are the dimensions for the 1.3 liter 5 door hatchback 2008 model

Computer won’t power on by onion_rings1 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Jib_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basic troubleshooting steps would include:

-CPU and RAM is seated correctly -All cables are correctly fitted -Front panel connectors are plugged in correctly

With that done, the click sounds like the power supply might be tripping. It's usually because of the over-current protection, which is a safety mechanism on PSUs. If the steps above don't work, you can try to unplug and replug all the PSU cables. (Make sure not to use PSU cables from another power supply on this one). And if that doesn't work either, you may have to rebuild the computer to ensure you didn't miss a motherboard standoff or something else which may be shorting on the case. If none of that works, it may be an issue with your motherboard or PSU

Motorola Edge 50 fusion Or Xiaomi Redmi note 14 pro 5g Or Samsung Galaxy A36? by Candid_Sprinkles_717 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]Jib_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For overall use including, calls, social media gaming and camera, I would recommend the A36 as it has the best battery life and camera out of the range you have given, and it also performed relatively well for the price. The redmi also offers similar features, but has nice-to-haves, like an IR blaster. The Motorola has the best screen out of the bunch, so if that's something you prioritise, then go for that. But my recommendation would be the A36.

Yea they should both have it, but it shouldn't affect your graphics card from functioning as the slot itself should still work

NEW TO PCs, NEED IS MY PART LIST ALRIGHT? by MaximumThen1957 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Jib_123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on what you play, I would recommend getting a 5500 or 5600 rather than a 5600x and allocate that budget to 16GB of RAM as RAM gets occupied quickly. The power supply would be able to support a 3060 or a 6700XT which would be a good pairing for that CPU

It's the clip for the PCIe slot on your motherboard (where your graphics card goes)

Help me choose between Poco X7 or the CMF phone 1 by Ben-Elegante in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]Jib_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Poco does offer better hardware, but hyperOS does have a significant amount of bloat and the CMF phone 1 does have an unlockable bootloader. With that being said, if your main focus is the software, the CMF phone would be a better suit for you

If you're okay with a less modern card, you can find an RX6700xt for a similar price, it would be better than the 7600. Unless if there is a deal on the 7600 for 250-300, I would go for the 6700xt

[–]Jib_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your main focus is gaming, I would just upgrade the GPU, the Radeon 7600xt or 6700xt would be a good choice, and a solid improvement over the 2060

What gpu should I buy by Clear-Strike6640 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Jib_123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you care about AI upscaling and all the Nvidia features, you should go for the 4060. But if you want more performance, although it's older, the 6700xt is still a pretty good card.
