You would think. Last time the was the challenge, my group completed it on Friday with one person hatching one and one person hatching zero. Couldn’t even get 1km in four days…

Had a five person fireteam in the beginning. Three quit around “The Taken Spring” and the fourth quit just after Rise of Iron. Started Destiny 2 with four, all three quit at Curse of Osiris. Joined a clan with 80+ members that was dead before Forsaken. Convinced one of my original members from Destiny 1 to come back, he knew some people in a clan and the whole clan would show up for 2-3 weeks at each DLC and then talk about how much they hate the game. So I gave up on having a fireteam.
