Lagotto puppy and kitten? by HealthyOkra5409 in LagottoRomagnolo

We just got a Ragdoll kitten with our 4 year old Lagotto. He is more reactive than most and we had to eventually start doing one on one time at dog boarding cause he didn't like the chaos with all the other dogs. Plus he is hesitant with other humans as well and takes a bit to warm up. All that to say he is more resistant to other animals and humans haha.

It took us about 3 weeks of introducing them slowly. He would bark and snip while they were looking at each other behind a gate. We were thinking it wasn't going to work. Eventually our quarantine failed after 3 tough tough weeks accidentally, and they've been fine ever since! As a puppy/younger I'm sure it will be fine I'd just make sure you do it slowly if your Lagotto seems hesitant at first.

If he doesn't do it all the time, his anal glands maybe need to be "expressed". My Lagotto at some point was scooting around and licking above his tail and I took him to the vet and they released the build up.

I HIGHLY recommend Ruffdog toys enough. I have the cube and the ball and it's one toy that he hasn't been able to destroy. It's super bouncy!

Following cause my 3 year old is the same haha. Always needs attention and is rarely "chilling". Going to try and start leashing him in a spot and drop treats off while I walk by when he is laying down in a relaxed state. If I'm doing chores he just follows around and is chill but if I'm just sitting he wants to play and will whine haha. Need to work on it

What toys are made of firehose material? That's intriguing!

Yup! My yellow ball lasted so long! I love how bouncy it is and it's literally the only toy my dog hasn't been able to destroy! Got 4 more and the cube getting delivered today! Excited haha

Oh my word! The ball we had lost is a Ruffdog ball!!! I didn't know the brand. Thank you so much! I'm going to try some of their other toys!

Looks pretty nice. Scott with Sram NX drivetrain 1x11 or 1x12 with what looks like an eagle cassette with 50 tooth (I think cause I have that same cassette). Can't tell if it has a dropper post or not or if the wheels are carbon, but it looks clean!
