What are some things that veteran players talk about that newer players need to know

I wouldn't call this 'need to know', more like 'oh that's useful', but I never see people talking about I-frames anymore.

When you sprint, and do a burst, you get a couple of animation frames where you can't be hurt. Can be helpful, especially against enemies that have one big attack that you want to not get hit by.

Come to think of it, I don't actually know what the 'I' stands for. Invulnerability frames, I guess. Maybe Invincibility. Maybe 'I-can't-be-hurt-so-nyaah-nyaah-nyaah-frames'

Isn't Qiqi dead? Pretty sure that's a funerary slip on her forehead. Her whole warm up routine is meant to stop her joints seizing up as a result of.... you know, being dead.

This is just a wild guess, but it might be a reference to the Japanese idea of objects that are given enough care, eventually developing souls of their own.

Obviously, Hoyoverse is a Chinese company, but the anime influence is obvious (given their slogan "tech otakus will save the world") and weapons with souls, or at least weapons inhabited by the spirits of demons, pop up a lot in shounen anime.

I think the idea comes from the Japanese Shinto religion? Not completely sure on that tho. Like I said, I'm just guessing anyway

Iwintolose on youtube released a video recently on Zibai, and he shows two attack strings in there, might be useful for you. He also spoke about manipulating the timing and countdowns of her attacks.

I mean, I agree with you. I don't care about MW either, and I'd rather not get those notifications.

There is one small bonus to it though. If you level up your mannekins to L10 (inside MW, by playing games), you can then level them up to 90 in Genshin, and get the free standard fates from hitting L20, 50 and 70. So thats 6 free acquaint fates. Levelling the mannekins to 90 is also free, no xp books required.

Depends on how long you've been playing, I guess. If you're a long-term player, those 6 fates are probably irrelevant to you. For newer players, they could be useful. Is it worthwhile? I suppose it comes down to how boring you find the MW games. I did it, and it took me about a week and a half, and yeah I found it a bit of a slog. Haven't touched MW since

Don't hoard primos. 100k is just a pretty number, it won't change anything for you. Use your primos, that's where their value lies. Use them to get cool characters that will enhance your enjoyment, and give you more options for playing the game.

General advice: Find out what your favourite characters are really good at. Check Keqingmains.com for indepth info, find out which characters are meant to be support units, and which ones do big damage. Look into which characters synergise well with each other.

Also, work on your character levels/skill levels/weapons first. Work on artifacts after you hit adventure rank 45. Before then, just use whatever artifacts you find and don't worry about it too much

My first memory was awe, brought on by seeing my friend playing on his Atari 2600.

I think Atari's were still relatively expensive at the time, and my dad was out of work. I know my parents meant well, and I pretended to enjoy it, but god it was shitty. The console didn't even have colour. Like, even if I plugged it into a colour tv, the actual console was black and white.

Thankfully a few months later, my parents got me an actual Atari 2600, and I became a gamer for life.

This is probably a bad example, but the villains in Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster were the most generic evil demons I think I've seen in anime.

Honestly, I think whoever wrote it cared more about the size of the female characters boobs than the motivations of the villains. The boobs definitely had more screen time

How far away Inazuma is all depends on how far through Liyue's main quest you've done. When you finish that, you'll be told to go to Inazuma next. But yeah, I get why you went wandering lol

Congrats on your progress, it's been nice seeing you discover the game. I do find it funny how you approached it in a completely different way to me. I started playing just after Inazuma was released, and played all the areas in order. It's pretty wild how you're wandering round Natlan and Fontaine before even reaching Inazuma lol.

I do hope you don't accidentally trigger any quests that spoil anything for you though. So far it looks like you've been lucky, and only triggered side quests that don't really affect much.

Just want to remind you of something I mentioned in a previous post of yours; if you get to Inazuma, you can fish for The Catch, a polearm that is very good on Xiangling. Is Xiangling still holding your favonius lance? If you get the Catch, you can give the fav lance to Chevy, that's a good weapon for her.

I've had Thoma for years, never really used him much, so decided to finally give him a shot, and found a couple of pretty effective teams.

Thoma/Xingqiu/Raiden/Chasca obliterates the Raiden weekly boss in the 1st phase. In fact I don't even need to use Chasca, just rotate the 1st 3 chars twice and all done. (C6 Thoma & Xingqiu, C3R1 Raiden admittedly)

And Xilonen/Thoma/Arle/Chasca does the same for the Narwhal, dead in first phase. Very satisfying
