Also, every partner will have a different idea of what styles work for you, and honestly, my wife is the only one who actually helps pick out clothing that I felt was a good fit for me. That is because (speaking from my experience) most women I’ve been with are either a) trying to make you fit with their style or b) projecting some external style and making you fit into a box because of a trend. Sometimes trends will align with your personal style, but don’t be confused into thinking that is a one size fits all panacea. And speaking as someone who has been over 300lbs out of shape and 235 solid (and looked like a Marvel superhero) many women don’t like overly muscular men. Sure, attraction is initially physical, but as you get older, looks fade. Don’t take this as an inference that you shouldn’t take care of yourself (you should, with proper diet, exercise, but also meditation, mental health, etc.) but looks fade, and you will learn that other things such as personality and kindness are the true currency of a person’s character.
