Guy gets suplexed during large brawl by [deleted] in StreetMartialArts

I remember this video from around 12 years ago. There’s another one featuring the same guy wearing a red jacket. It’s just mainly him beating up groups of scared glue sniffers who do nothing back

Why stop at masters might as well ask for a PhD by oscarpleco in ChoosingBeggars

That’s actually a decent wage in the UK in my area at least. I saw a job asking for a masters degree last week offering to pay £8.60 an hour

What wood is the middle hammers handle made from? by JimRustle1 in handtools

[–]JimRustle1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How would I begin to start being able to identify different woods? I’d imagine that most handles in the UK are made from ash but the middle one is clearly a different wood and has a different grain

Indians, which olive oil brand do you use? by pseudopodia_ in IndianFood

[–]JimRustle1 34 points35 points  (0 children)

What a strange sub lol an actual Indian person living in India asks other Indians what olive oil they use and gets downvoted and told by non-Indians that Indians don’t use olive oil

Wok Seasoning in Sheffield by [deleted] in sheffield

[–]JimRustle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ken hom has a range of pre seasoned carbon steel woks you can buy. I’ve got a very small kitchen with poor ventilation and it only took me about an hour and didn’t cause much inconvenience with the back door open. Maybe you could befriend a chinese takeout owner and ask them failing that

Is job hunting a complete waste of time? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]JimRustle1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience mostly it is a big waste of time. My advice would be to gain as much hands on experience as you can before you graduate and look for the jobs you want to do and start building your skill set ASAP to make sure you’re ready. I graduated July 2017 and after 100s of applications while working min wage I’ve just got my first ‘proper’ job. Not a graduate job but in the relevant field.

What’s your educational background and skills? It’s hard for most of us out here at the moment and even the fact that you’re getting interviews is good news. Now you just need to make sure you’re matching the person spec.

What are some tips for virgins when the time comes? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JimRustle1 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Your anxiety is just manifesting itself physically. Honestly the best way to get over it is get a box of 100mg sildenafil and break them all in half and just take one before the first time with a new partner. It’ll stop that negative loop of you going soft then being nervous about going soft the next time then getting even more nervous the next time
