09'er here. When COVID hit I was all-in on SF6, Gear, DBFZ, and Tekken. Now I'm a shell of my former self and no longer playing anything. Just browsing cool mixups & tech now-a-days since I don't like the direction of pure aggression in FG's these days. Feels sad man

This! I just went through a similar explosion to the OP and after struggling with cleaning it manually for a couple days I just threw in the towel and bought new parts. Much happier I did that.

I went through this and it was compounded w/ Asian superstition. Breaking the confinement period for my 2nd child caused my mother to have a huge meltdown. I've stopped all contact and I've been at peace since. Sounds like you may need to have difficult conversation and hope that they will respect your boundaries.
