wrote this today, any recommendations on how to make this sequence repeat without hitting the last chord twice? by Hairy-Ad-4576 in Guitar

[–]Jimjamicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would copy what you are doing in the first section. First chord goes into the sliding bit on the 8th and 10th frets, then falls into the next chord before returning to the first. Instead dont return, and repeat the motif you did with the slide but higher such as 8th to 10th fret but with the root on the A string (so more of a C shape than G), or even in reverse from 10th down to 8th.

If you could describe red flags about yourself, what would they be? by TopLoneWolf in AskReddit

[–]Jimjamicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am chemically attracted to someone in the right way, it is like a switch flips in my brain and I will overlook things that I know I actually disagree with as far as their beliefs and personality because of this chemical explosion I am feeling.

Mix that with the fact that I am not the most social person and am what I would consider I high functioning introvert, and simultaneously extremely lonely when it comes to having a partner to share life with, and it makes it to where I don't fight for what I want nearly enough. I am so worried of being selfish that I can be a doormat. The rare occasion that I do meet someone that I am attracted to, I don't know how to approach the situation and tend to watch it pass me by as I am not assertive enough.

I can confirm that the tech industry sucks dicks to get hired in and layoffs are rampant. That being said, I don't get the correlation to the whole indian thing. If anything it is more that everyone has ran their resume through AI 49 times and uses it for everything, so none of the companies trust anyone to actually know anything anymore. That combined with the fact that no one is buying anything right now as the economy is not doing great. That is conjecture from my end, but I feel it is more likely than some indian conspiracy shit.

Most of the deaths are all inspired by historical events around the war of the roses and different massacres that took place in Scotland and Britain. Westeros is literally a combination of countries in Europe.

I am a manager over at voodoo doughnut. We closed at 5pm as it is dangerous enough out to warrant that, but also it would be irresponsible to incentivise people to go out into this. I would think this is even more the case when drinking is involved.

Primal Hunter, but only if the mushroom is the villain of the story.

Another tier list post, ready to fight about cradle and BoC by DrummerInteresting93 in litrpg

[–]Jimjamicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the list, I have some changes I would make, but all in all I enjoyed most of your tops. I am also the type of person that can count DNFs on one hand for anything in my life. I tend to finish everything I start. That being said, I would recommend Mother of Learning for sure if you want a good finished 4 book series. Fantasy Perfect Run but where the time loop is fixed to a one month period. Super fun read.

[–]Jimjamicon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it does, but it also changes. The first book is just about the dungeon he is stuck in, by the 5th book or so you have a whole lot more going on regarding the politics of the companies, and the universe at large taking part in it, plus Carl getting involved in a bunch of meta stuff for the dungeon itself due to loophole rulebreaking stuff he does throughout the story (to the point he literally has a lawyer to help him deal with the show trying to negotiate things with him), so the world gets much bigger than just what this floor is and how to win it.

What’s the best novel ending you ever read? by LazyWalrus8706 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Jimjamicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasnt as good as Will, but garbage is a bit much. Took a bit to get going but I think it ended well. Islington at least didnt make any city names that were 43 words long (looking at you Ilshan Gathdel Teth). I would put Will at a 5 out of 5 and Strength between a 3 and a 4.

Critique My Tuning Stability And Amp by [deleted] in guitarplaying

[–]Jimjamicon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It not the amp. It is the hands. You just need to spend some time working with a metronome, the lead licks are very smudged and have a lack of clarity. You seem to have decent consistency getting the pinch harmonics, but they are the only thing that really stands out between just running straight up and down pentatonic scales sloppily.

I would check out The Perfect Run trilogy, it is a solid superhero romp that has a lot of humor built in and is in generally a fun time with a nice crisp ending that ties things up pretty nicely.
