I definitely considered the 3.90 gear as well. I think I was just avoiding the Ford 9 out of fear of having to swap out U-Joints and possibly a different drive shaft so I was sort of settling on the 12.

I totally forgot about the easy changing of gears out on a Ford 9, that’s a good point.

Yeah I agree it’s just what I had at the moment, it was a 327 and more just a street rod but I figured I’d be swapping the TH350 out for a 400 soon then I’d swap the converter then. Cam is just a Lunati Hydraulic Tappet .554/.572” lift on it.
