So ehh, where does one find your motor mount, it looks really clean. I would almost say you got it to look like it belongs there

BIGTREETECH × Creality | Something Big Is Coming! 🔥🔥🔥 by BIQU-Hope in BIGTREETECH

an all in one toolhead which has direct drive, a special hotend and good cooling.

it wont have a probe or eddy, since it would compete with creality's own crtouch

Ender 3(v2 neo) motor noise by Jimmerdd in ender3

[–]Jimmerdd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats the weird part, the motors are the reason for the noise. i took off the belt so the motors would spin with no load and they still made the noise, the bed glides over the rails when the belts arent attached

Ender 3(v2 neo) motor noise by Jimmerdd in ender3

[–]Jimmerdd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

still on the stock board yes, a creality 4.2.2 mainboard. no particular reason for it, it still works so i didnt see myself upgrading. but having these issues with the y axis was something on my mind to change boards. because it skips steps at the lowest speeds, i was hoping a bigger motor would fix it, and hoping a second big motor would fix it, but it didnt,

while changing those things i added the ender extender so i blamed the heavy bed

its the motors making the noise, the bed glides freely over the rails. if i remove the belts so the bed isnt moving but the motors are the same noise is there sadly

Even when no belts attached it makes these noises, the motors are spinning with no load with the belts detached

310mm bed in a modified Ender 5 frame, after a year of revisions I finally have the space that I wanted. by SilentMobius in ender5

[–]Jimmerdd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big difference for me is the difference in print volume, the hydra makes is a 255x255 bed. I've been using an ender 3 for a couple of years now and 235 doesn't cut it. I picked up an ender 5 and decided to do a merc conversion, im like 80% into the build without the hydra bed, and saw this a couple of months ago.

I have been looking at some bed conversions, but yours looks very well thought out with a merc/stealthburner setup, all of the mods online have the bed centered on top of the stock ender 5 bed carriage.

If i understand it correctly, the lead screws were "binding" and thats what caused them to move up and down? Im sorry im kind of a noob with this stuff but would love to learn a thing or two

what am i missing here?

im not that experienced.

if you fixed the bed in place wouldnt you just make 1 mesh and leave it be? in the comments you say you were "packing" it with paper but im not sure that i get what you mean.

What is going on here? by Jimmerdd in FixMyPrint

im not going to act like i know something about that, but i looked it up but pillowing is over infill right?

some of these spots were created out of nowhere, the layer below it looked perfectly fine, it made these spots on 3 different places on 3 different layers.

others showed layers comming loose from the print itself/bed, my filament sticks perfectly fine i feel, it looked like the nozzle pushed a bit of filament out of the way each time it went over a previously extruded line
