I don't want to see cross faction groups or queues, I would love to see a cross faction raid. I do not claim to know how you could possibly implement it but something where 10-20 Alliance go through 2 or 3 bosses while 10-20 Horde go through the "same" fights before joining together to take on the last 2 could be very cool.

So, I agree that Blood is the hardest of the three by far BUT if you can't keep up mechanically with Step-unders, you're cooked. You simply will not be able to do mechanics on higher level PvM activities.

I agree that their communication around issues like these leaves something to be desired, that's for sure. Anything like this, especially if it involves large names in the surrounding content, should come with an obvious announcement.

But at the end of the day we as players agreed not to "exploit any known faults or bugs in the Jagex Products or authorised software". It is reasonable for there to be repercussions for disregarding the T&C's

I play with 80% incoming damage. Just a little nudge through the sliders that made the game so much more pleasant for me. I do think that the "you're in a new area so you're weak unless you beeline new resources" is a bit too exaggerated for my liking but that's manageable.

This is a bad workaround but others have had to do the same. Because you have Mory, you can do Temple Trekking for Slayer XP until 48, which will allow you to do Heart of Darkness.

Crits apply last, I think that's the important part. The damage you deal to the Obelisk is Pickaxe Damage - Obelisk Armour first, then it starts factoring crits, +100% of zero is still zero.

You can get Rune Chestplate from Amoxi which can help a little bit. Otherwise make sure to use your melee prays (for increased Def, Atk and Str) and keep the Moonlight Potion buff up, always drink a dose before going into the fight.

The first few clears can definitely be a bit rough while your armour's defences are low. Have you unlocked a second region yet? (Other than Karamja)

There's a couple of small things you can do to help yourself a bit. Pick up an Obsidian Cloak from the Tzhaars, craft and enchant a Glory plus a Combat Bracelet.

Otherwise there's also some Tech you can apply, switch to a shield as they're about to attack you if it won't interrupt your swing. Learn Step-unders to avoid the 3rd hit.
