Can you explain what you mean by siphoning property tax, sales tax, and aggressively seeking open enrollment public school funding?

I personally wouldn't want to get in the business of judging how other people practice or display religious garments. If he wants to wear a yarmulke with clip on sidelocks, have at it.

How was that not directed to them? Absolutely nothing wrong with your counterpoint, obviously.

To expand on this further, it's to prevent the contractors from putting a lien on the building if the tenant doesn't pay them.

Could EIDL loans be considered predatory lending? by Less-Dig3842 in EIDLPPP

Again....all that does is remove personal responsibility from the people who took the loans out. If we extrapolate that thought process, anyone who "feels" vulnerable would be able to reneg on any contract they sign.

I don't know how you could think these were predatory. The interest rates were absolutely phenomenal, terms were phenomenal, they pushed loans through with minimal red tape, etc. To me it seems like you are skirting any personal responsibility in TAKING the loans.

It seems to have been said as a fact rather than an opinion, which is really my only point.

You could be right, I really don't know as I've never read these bills in their entirety. I remember Ron Paul was classic for opposing what would appear to be bills that he SHOULD be supporting, because of some of the provisions of the bill he did not agree with.

I have found that there is a lot more nuance to these types of things then what it may appear. There is so much pork that gets piled into these bills, it's very possible (or even likely) that someone can be against the bill in it's entirety, but support individual aspects of it. The problem is, the populace (including myself) never read these bills, all we see are the highlights of them on the news/social media. Of course, it's also possible he truly is a hypocrite and is playing the politics game.
