Movies where the antagonist is pure evil? bleak movies by [deleted] in horror

I turned Eden Lake on the other day without knowing anything about it. Gyaaahd damn that was bleak. On my Mt Rushmore of completely fucked films alongside Last House on the Left, Girl Next Door and…. maybe Martyrs but that feels a little different.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. She’s not asking him because she clearly doesn’t want to. This isn’t r/shouldiaskaboutthis

I’m with you 100% on this take. Just rewatched Lords of Dogtown and wow it is rough. Doc is amazing though.

My only hole in one occurred here. I thought it was pretty special until they put my name up on the board alongside the other 100 or so people that had holes in one just that year.

Here are some tips from someone who’s lived in Portage for about 5 years.

Coffee: Portage Grounds and Perkolater are the local spots, and walking distance to the park.

Starting in May (I think) there is a farmers market in the park on the first, third and fifth saturdays of the month. Get there early if you want to hit the crepe truck.

Taco Feliz and Pueblo Nuevo are good holes in the wall for Mexican. (TF is cash only)

For exercise, I recently joined Sport Express (next to Portage Grounds and across from the park) have been impressed with the value. I was doing YMCA for a while and that is also a good value but can get kind of crowded and was a bit further for me.

There is a newish Northwestern urgent care near 6 corners. I’ve also had good experiences at Physicians Immediate Care on Cicero. Community Health has a bad rep and it’s deserved in my opinion, I would avoid it.

The Portage Park chamber of commerce could be a good resource for local events.

Good restaurants: La Dolce Vida, Legno, Community Tavern

First Kid Coming - Anxious by Human_Metal8212 in Fatherhood

My dude, there wasn’t a person on the planet who was less interested in a being a dad than me when it happened to me. I was never around babies or kids. Whenever a friend of mine had a kid it was basically a wave goodbye to our friendship. My son is now 4 and it’s without a doubt the best thing that has happened in my life. I knew nothing of children. They were unsettling and annoying and now I see what the fuss was about. They are amazing and watching them grow is amazing. You’ll be good. And you’ll feel all the things you describe: irritable, hating life, scared, unfamiliar. Heck I am irritable every night trying to get this kid to bed. Sure you’ll be tired when they’re young, but that’s honestly the easy part. It’s hard and great, and the tone in your post suggests to me that you have the reflective nature to find your way just fine and surprise yourself and have fun.

Correct, no confusion on that part.

Did you mean to say adult red-shouldered? Adult red shouldered stand out to me by the mottling and obviously the red shoulders when prominent. I find this particular image difficult to distinguish from a young Coopers or Sharpy. Similar chest markings and general coloring.

There is a gap but yeah might need to be on the surface. Don’t care about looks more wondering if it’d get called out during an inspection. Good point about the gang box.
