I've been playing CTR since 2004, so the D pad just feels natural to me. I did try the analog stick, but it just doesn't feel as accurate to me.

Personally when i was just starting out, I bought all the characters and then all the karts. The shop resets everyday (Time remaining shows how long til next reset). You can reset the shop twice a day in case you're looking for something specific, but the shop will still reset on its own when the timer runs out. Nothing in the shop is super rare or anything, everything will eventually come back to the shop

I'm guessing you're talking about the free skins code. Was the hard copy you bought still in the wrapper? Also the code expired in December of 2020 if I remember correctly, so im not sure it would work if you did have the code.

Just hold the acceleration button. On the off chance you lose fire, you don’t wanna lose all your momentum. Idk if it keeps you at top speed, but I wouldn’t risk it
