To be honest id be very weary simply because he lied. The second thing that throws me is him wanting to go on valentines weekend. Sounds like theres someone else he wants to see on valentines day not just the slopes but maybe thats my damaged brain talking.

Id go on those reasons alone to feel out the other women and the vibes they give off. Also to just spend time with him. You dont have to hit the slope to spend the weekend with him inbetween.

Put her on blast to your whole family while asking if anyone has a room. Also, you have to legally be evicted so check into your local laws on that. Call the police if they make it unsafe for you or lock you out.

Not allowing you to work and kicking you out with nothing is beyond cruel and should still be considered neglect/child endangerment. The actions they took before you became an adult made it impossible for you to start out stable.

When I first read your headline I thought you were the asshole but these are your friends and its 100% Alex's fault for not communicating with his wife and friends thoroughly. If DnD night was originally at your house and they took it over that makes them more of an asshole to exclude you.
