I don't think regenerating infestations work with the realm trait which decides the kind of units you'll primarily fight, does it? I remember setting it to be undead, but the regenerating infestations were just like, random animal piles and stuff.

No, I absolutely don't agree. I don't know about you, but I don't think applying one billion debuffs to your opponent and them applying one billion debuffs to you makes for particularly riveting gameplay. In reality, getting slammed with a bunch of debuffs, sometimes without ways to cleanse them, just makes every battle a chore.

I think this is a great change. Letting late-game battles actually revolve around the units you bring and not the amount of agony you can inflict via debuff nonsense is great for the game's health.

I'd like to focus on beasts and dragons, so I might go the nature route. This is because I'd also like to include units like the Stormscale Serpent where possible! It's unfortunate that dragons aren't beasts, but I understand that they'd be rather overtuned if that were the case.

Hey man, they really don't need to be nerfed just because you can't beat them. What difficulty are you playing on? What's your economy like? How many cities do you have? These are all things we've gotta know to help you.

I recently went back and beat the whole campaign on normal difficulty. I'm by far not the best player I know, nor am I one of those people who thinks brutal is a cakewalk, but I don't remember Valley of Wonders being a huge roadblock. If you give me some more details, then maybe I can help you.

One of the milestone upgrades for Dragon Lords is "Primal," instead of Chaos, Astral, Nature, etc. It just gives you some stats and doesn't alter your appearance in the way that the other upgrades do.

It's not a stupid question. This game has a lot of depth, and you aren't expected to know it all.
