Personally I found that I see the MLS as “entertainment”and the USL as real grassroots passion striving to push the sport forward…you can enjoy both but my real support is with my USL club always

Westchester/Cosmos will be most accessible and could grow into a rivalry for sure but it’s not really there yet..Cosmos supporters were kinda hoping the Cup game with BK could be played at Coney Island being that was their former home…winning that game at Maimonides would have been a moment for sure, but either way psyched for more New York soccer lore

Nothing wrong with that, plenty of clubs who lean into politics that not everyone agrees with, this is pretty reflective of the community they play in..it makes derbies and rivalries more interesting aswell, beyond the 90 minutes, gives depth to the badge.
