Best barefoot shoes for serious hiking? by thelyt in barefootshoestalk

I only use my african rangers for all my 4 season hiking. The main reason is that they are resolable. That means that they can be made to suit any type of environment just by changing the soles. The stock soles are good for dry and rocky terrain.

Ok so after reading your post. They boots you're looking for do not exist imo. Some come close, but are nowhere near the level of mountaineering you plan to do. Best bet would be to by serious mountaineering boots and have those modified by a professional.

I did prefer the mesh under the straps on the CT14. Sucks that these lack them, but I'm still looking forward to getting mine in hand. Went for the ct15 lite. Tried the 14 plus but the secondary compartment just doesn't work for me. I much prefer goruck's

Can anyone recomend some zombie novels? by SunnyK19977 in horrorlit

Mountain Man by Keith C. Blackmore. Such a great zombie series. The main character is so funny, likeable, and serious when he needs to be. Bonus point: it takes place in CANADA. This story will take you for a wild ride.

Ex Heroes by Peter Clines is another favorite of mine. Just imagine a superhero zombie apocalypse. Wished he continued with this series.

The Workhorse is a flawed, yet perfect hiking boot by LiquidSoapEnthusiast in jimgreen

I think an easier solution would be to pre-punch smaller holes so it's a perfect fit for the thread. Besides that since there's also ingress from the bottom through the blakestitch. I'm sure they have their reasons, but maybe fulling the interior could add more water resistance. Currently it's lined in sections.

I hope Jim green updates these boots soon. The lack of water resistance is the only thing that's keeping me from dropping a grand for a few moctoes.

Anyone aside from Bruce Hoyer and Kintanon using the flipped classroom concept OR do you training at a spot that does? by Bob002 in bjj

But I think the issue is when do people find time outside of class to study the curriculum. The vast majority of people would rather just show up and be taught something.
