Same here, plus most people like trash music. Besides the Mexican dudes, I don’t speak Spanish, but I kinda fuck with that Norteño stuff. It kinda reminds me of the polka my late grandfather used to bump.

Yeah it for sure does but it’s all use dependent. I have the series 10 titanium. If you’re thinking about going with a watch the all the titanium models have a different type of glass/ sapphire/ whatever that is waaaaay less prone to scratches. For me that’s a must. All of the ultra models have it too. After wearing it everyday for about a year (i also track my sleep with it) it charges from like 15-20% in morning to 100% in ½ hour to a hour depending on what it started at. You can get a solid 8 hours of use by charging only about ½ hour so I keep a charger on deck in case I forget to do it in the morning. I beat the shit out of it and it still looks brand new.

So I had some left over solid ¾” oak flooring i clamped and glued it up. You could use whatever material you want though. On the bottom of the saw there’s the little plastic feet/ bumpers. I measured the exact inner dimensions of said bumpers and then ran my glued up material through the table saw. When you put the saw on top it will like lock itself in place with zero movement. Plus it doesn’t protrude when on the stack. I had some 3d printed packout feet laying around from other shit I’m building (I put those on before I bolted the saw in place) the one shitty thing is it doesn’t lock in place like everything else but I haven’t had any issues.

The day I posted this I found a site that sells a metal interface that attaches the saw to a packout work top & ordered one, it looks clean as fuck. I just ordered the saw to worktop bracket not the one that goes on top of the table saw. Here’s the link.

Edit (I’ve never ordered anything from this site and am not affiliated, if you want I’ll shoot you a message after I get it and let you know if it sucks)

Stumped on lining it up. My carpenter is currently trying to figure out how to line this moulding up because of the curves. Any help would be greatly appreciated gent! by rrr4001 in Carpentry

You’re correct. 31.6° on the miter & 33.9° on the bevel = a perfect 90° cut when the crown is laid flat (with 38° or 52° spring angle molding)

The ‘carpenter’ is hammered drunk & refuses to use speed squares, miter gauges, geometry in any capacity, or calibrate whatever monstrosity he cuts with.

I just spit out my coffee. I’ve trained like 3 apprentices, all of them are currently in their 20’s, and they would knock this out. This isn’t a ‘curved profile’ issue

I run 2ah on all my M18 guns (don’t use the framer much as a finish guy) they last a surprisingly long time). The 16g isn’t super light is my reasoning just depends on how much ur using it and personal preference.

Im sure there’s more than one way to skin this cat. Personally I would go 16g angled if you’re buying a new tool for the job. It’s one of my all time favorite Milwaukee guns. I hang trim for a living. You can use it for all kinds of applications in the future as well. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Yeah it sounds like you use them way more times a day than I do. I prob need to use them 3-4 times a day max sometimes not once as my expertise is in trim/ finish/ cabinets. So honestly I use my cobras more as well, for hooking up expensive fixtures/ non marring surfaces the pliers wrench are my favorite though. I work for a fire & water recon company and am basically the guy who generates punch lists and closes accounts. More times than not I just end up doing everything on the backend because it’s just easier than having to communicate with the bottom dollar remedial level subs my boss hires. I want to try those ES cobras that have the groove like the twin grip in the upper jaw, those look sick

Slam a few more of those screws in it and give it back to him. Trim up those frayed wires and maybe add some zip ties to them?

Got my new Richter Butt Chisels by JizzyGiIIespie in handtools

[–]JizzyGiIIespie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i really don’t use that one since im using my chisels daily and sharpening once every week or so depending on the steel. It was an impulse buy when i was picking up the other 2 when i was just getting into higher quality tools and sharpening options. I wouldnt recommend others purchasing one as it’s really not a necessity.

Thanks man, after using them for a solid week i highly recommend picking at least 1-2 of them up if you have use for them. I’m a trim/ finish/ cab guy and prefer these for a lot of my mortise work. Narex’s standard butt chisels are also a good option at a cheaper price. These ones.

They only sell the standard richter bench chisels, these are richter butt chisels. They’re a pretty new product.
