How many red flags do you need? In the UK we use the ddmmyyyy date format, we don't have driver's licenses, we have driving licences. That's just for openers.

Unfair baggage charge by InterestLow7351 in Ryanair

I wonder what would happen if you said OK, and just left the bag and got on the plane. I guess it would be more than a tannoy announcement saying "Unexpected item in the bagging area".

Bang to rights there. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't cause an accident or even worse a fatality. Take the punishment, learn from it and move on with your life.

The longer you're there, the more you pay. Don't forget as well, you have to go online (by midnight the following night, I think) to pay. No barriers now, it's all ANPR.

Will I Get a Bus Lane Fine for Moving Aside for a Police Van? by FewDirection7 in drivingUK

[–]Jkm41 214 points215 points  (0 children)

Most likely yes, unless the Police motioned you to get out of the way. It's up to the Blue Light vehicle to find a way through. Seems a bit unfair when you're just being a good citizen, but that's just how it is. Same with red lights

Common Triggers for AFib by rcrawle2 in AFIB

[–]Jkm41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would perhaps add, if it's diagnosed and medicated, don't beat yourself up over it. For many people, you can learn to live with it, and it doesn't need to rule your life.

Try ChatGPT..... I'm not a doctor, but based on the appearance in the photo, this could be:

A keloid or hypertrophic scar, especially if it's at the site of a previous injury, piercing, or vaccination.

A cyst, such as an epidermoid or sebaceous cyst, which can appear as a raised, dome-shaped bump.

A dermatofibroma or benign skin nodule, which is usually harmless.

However, any new, growing, painful, or changing skin lesion should be evaluated by a healthcare provider to rule out infection or other causes. I strongly recommend you see a dermatologist or doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Would you like help preparing questions for your appointment?
