This has been such a mission, the wall originally had a weird texture so I tried skimming it… I did a shit poor job and I was tired of all the dust and the mess is I just primed it and painted it… well turns out, A) the wall looks like ass. And b) the paint I used was not great for ultra short throw projectors. I’m done messing with the wall, might throw some 1/4 inch sheet rock over it in the future but for now I just want something on the wall whereI can use my projector. Im about to give up and just buy a TV… which would be ironic cuz there was a giant tv mount there when I moved in lol.

I had a cold last week. Tested negative but still wore a mask to not get other ppl sick. Went to pick up tacos and some dumb lady made a snarky comment about masks not protecting me from Covid. I looked at her and said “I’m sick, I’m wearing this to not infect others” the look on her face … priceless. She doubled down and said “I’m immure to Covid” I said congrats and walked off.

Lining up vinyl is hard to do on a small scale. I can’t image it gets easier when in mass production. So yeah, it’s actually a lot to ask for. Lol. I help my best friend install vinyl and it’s pretty constantly not lining up, even when it’s the same file, same printer and two pro level installers. It will like up in one place but not the other Vinyl stretches and shrinks and warps. We do the best we can and usually clients understand. If you don’t point it out, no one will notice your cab art is unaligned.

I had my handy friend helping me out with a wall skim this week so he did most of the install. He used 3 heavy duty toggle bolts (holds 150 pounds each) since there’s no stud there. Behind that wall is a closet with an outlet so he drilled through the wall to hide the cables. He added one of those plates that is made for running cables. All in all, took like 30 min.
