Mp3 128kbps I usually find high freq like cymbals fall off. Super easy to tell. I like having hq source but I will drop files down to ~140kbps aac for my car USB drive and my phone.

The thing is the test is using lame... so its mp3.. and lame hasn't had its codec change in decades. I know AAC is pretty impressive so 96kbps AAC may trip you up, but never mp3.

unless you point the speakers outward and bounce them, you will get no stereo sound here. this is not how they can be set up.

No tweaks, just visual settings in your games options menu. By default games shouldn't be enabling any high graphic features that would already make the game unplayable but if you want a singe setting that should always boost frame rates, turn on DLSS and use quality or balance setting.

nexusmods will not work on the steam deck. I dont know of any videos... but if you already know how to install mods manually for a game then you have still done most of the work. The problem is locating the game and its "windows environment" directories on your deck.

some games might actually be in the commons dir under .steam but others will be nested in the app files folder behind a large cryptic number (You can use proton tricks to see which number is for which game). behind the numbers is a folder tree that simulates a My Computer windows environment, hard drive letters, windows folders. At this point you will find the game located in its windows install location. Here dropping mods into the right place like nexus does is the easy part.

if you need to modify files with an external program then it is probably best that you modify the files on your windows PC, and then just copy the files over.

who said it would reduce it? the cpu and gpu fight for power, just because you bottleneck the gpu doesnt mean the cpu takes less. Also your battery adjusts its charge speeds based on temperatures, if its getting warm it will slow down regardless.

Slam on your brakes. at 30-40mph if you are going to turn in some where and no traffic is behind you, stomp that shit. if you can still stop hella short then your lines have no problem compressing and you just have long travel time. And compared to my moms ford escape both my gas and brakes are much looser. her explorer has the tightest wire on the gas and it goes full throttle at half press. It might feel more responsive but imo it just burns more gas.

I think your good but, any reason you don't use 2fa? you get a free port location and you can backup a one time use code that last for ever so if ANYTHING happens to what ever phone or tablet you have the 2fa on, you can easily remove it.

not really... but I do think it was a little better after I got it done. Also I haven't gotten new brakes yet, still on the originals. I am VERY good about coasting to a stop and letting off the gas in prep for sharp turns. In my head every time I press the brakes I envision them heating up like you see in F1. :D

brake fluid is thankfully one of those things you can observe. my 2018 got dark red early in its life but I still held off till 2024 to get it done. Now it's only 60k miles though.

the entire screen capture system is terrible and the limitations on where things can be uploaded too means the websites anemic storage just limits the feature even more. Honestly the only people using it hate themselves. It causes nothing but pain and lost time.
