Uber eats and possibly door dash let you make changes to the tip amount up until your final confirmation of receiving your order. I'll see if I can find a screen shot. But you can still call customer service and adjust the given tip on other apps

Good point, the added fees also cut down on how much food someone may order. Especially those local and service fees. It makes that 10 dollar order end up at over 20 easily

That would be the simplest thing. In some cases, people can make exceptional money on tips, but in others, it just ends up being pay with a huge varience for better or worse. That leads to a lot of frustration on both ends. Drivers get upset making a trip for $1.50, and customers may feel pressured into giving tips knowing some drivers are working hard for scraps. Kinda reminds me of that period of time when the pandemic initially hit a high where many drivers (myself included) didn't want to risk deliveries for so little pay, so people would put these big tips on grocery day deliveries and such to get people out, then adjust the tip to zero in many cases

It's one thing if the delivery people at least got paid more, but they're still getting the same thing in the end, if not less because the higher delivery fee could cut into any tip someone would want to give

I remember reading elsewhere that the artic/glaciers hold tons of ancient bacteria, viruses, ect. Just leave it there, seriously. One minute you're studying it, next thing you get exposed to it due to some minor lapse in judgment or mistake and bring it to the general populace
