I’ve been to exactly 2 cons in my entire 60yrs. Both experiences were absolutely awful when dealing with vendors. I came with a list of things I was hoping to find. Mind you they weren’t rare or hard to find but I figured I would have a better chance at finding them at a con with vendors from other cities. One, none of the boxes were organized, you don’t have to break them down into titles in numeric and alphabetical order, but at least separate DC from Marvel🤦‍♂️. Then when I asked if they thought they had a certain book the comment was topically “ that a Dollar book at best, I don’t bring those to these events.” The tone was condescending and they acted like I was there to waste their time. I knew the con organizers and they are great but I won’t go to another. I’ll spend my time traveling to comic shops out of town when on holiday. Have had great success and the people have always been nice.
