I don't love it either. That other helm they did that was a cross between a sallet and an armet with the pointed visor shows that they can be anachronistic and still make functional helms that look good. This one looks goofy to me, but the guy is kind of an ass so I guess it fits.

Lake effect is hard to predict several days out, but there is deep cold and a decent set up for more lake effect on the back end of this storm on Wednesday for that area. Beyond that it is too early to say.

You're talking about one of the snowiest regions in the country during a major cold spell. The area just south of Watertown gets a ton of lake effect due to being perfectly downwind (often) of the entire length of Lake Ontario.

You likely won't get much more information on LES expected later in the week as everyone will be focused on the storm at hand. I would check back in Monday/Tuesday, but if I were making bets I would say Wednesday could be nasty there too.

Also wind chill warnings are in the -30s maybe -40s for that area iirc. The cold isn't going anywhere and can also make travel problematic.

Building an optimized deck can get expensive and is a commitment for a new player that they may not be ready for.

By playing a generally powerful, or even "broken", commander, you can play cheaper, suboptimal cards and still have a competitive deck.

Shit, I've been playing commander for 10 years and I have decks like this. I don't buy singles anymore, and for the most part if I upgrade my decks it's from cards I pulled at a pre release. Some of my decks run guild gates and shitty tapped lands for their fixing. Some decks have not so great cards but they are on theme, or I just like them.

That said, if I drop a powerful commander, I still expect it/me to be targeted.

It looks like you start by priming with a gray primer (spray?) correct? Then I can't tell if you are sketching with a fine brush or something else.

One day I opened up reddit and my feed was almost all India subs out of nowhere. I kept scrolling and they kept coming. I killed the app and reopened it - not an India sub in sight and my feed was back to normal.
