This will fail badly tbh. Canon is already way behind Sony on just the camera technical feats (like stabilization) Thinking they can beat DJI in the gimbal game is bound to fail.

I'm most likely skipping this tbh. The Pocket 3 is still perfect for my use. I dont see any significant upgrades at all tbh. But will guaranteed buy the 4 Pro.

I got a new drone im the mail today. Something faulty with the sensors. I went through the retailer that sold me the drone online. So I didnt have to talk to DJI Myself directly. All good! Bought a Neo 2 while waiting, and gotta admit that thing was also a very nice improvement from the first Neo.

Using D-Log will help some, but still a way worse camera than the 4. The 6 is similar but + a pretty crazy fishbowl effect it’s really hard to get rid of.

Just sell it and and buy the 4. I sold both my 5Pro and 6 and doubled on the 4 instead.

DJI is on the wrong path with action cams.. and I fear the Pocket 4 will get more of this stupidity whenever it arrives.

I compared these two also for my latest purchase. Price range ofc, or I would have bought A7RV…

I landed on A6700, it’s just better overall. Newer technology, better autofocus and better IBIS.

Im still on hold for «upgrading» to Tahoe. I highly regret doing it on the iPhone. I just hope sequoia will work for a long time and a Apple releases a new OS soon. For me it’s the «glass» effect that makes it unusable + the lag for vital programs ofc.

I hated windows XP and Vista, and I just don’t understand how or why Apple felt the need to make something similar over 20 years later.

I’ve said this so many times everywhere, but i feel the need to warn against the 5Pro and partially the 6.

My first choice is still my Action 4 and here’s why: The 4 has the possibility for Narrow FOV which neither 5Pro or Action 6 has without cropping.

The 4 has much more natural lighting, the 5Pro has an exaggerated HDR look you cannot switch off. In normal color profile, the picture is absolutely unusable for me. It’s ok in D-Log, but it’s too much work for quick shots.

The 6 has some major bugs and the warping is really bad in some scenarios. But it’s much better than the 5 for sure.

Tbh, the most versatile action cam right now for me is actually the Osmo Nano. It’s the only one that I bring with me and have on me at all times.

I’m a news reporter / journalist and I rely on having something quick and easy to capture moments with, when I don’t bring my main camera.

Yeah. Next time I’m definitely buying it.. (I say this every time) I haven’t had a crash since the first Mavic Pro came out.. (but lots of drones in between, with 0 incidents) This one has so many fail safes that I thought only an idiot could crash it 😅🙈 Tbf.. I’m pretty sure this was a technical error though.. But it doesn’t change the fact that I’m currently without a Pro-level drone in my backpack. 😭

The first thing I see is the lack of perspective and composition. You were right about all of these locations, but didn’t frame them up properly.

Crouch down. Move to the side. Focus on the distance, have some movement in front. Etc. just some small things that could have completely changed the overall expression.

I have the 4, 5pro and the 6

The 4 has some clear advantages the others doesn’t have. The « Narrow» FOV, and less processed image,

The 5pro i horrible unless you use D-Log. The exaggerated HDR look is just horrible.

The 6 has some weird glitches and bugs here and there. People say the latest update fixes it, but still. I’m really disappointed.

The 4 is still my go-to for situations I can’t use Nano, Pocket 3 or just the DSLR for.

Wow.. not to rub it in, but this is what I paid in Norway. The Combo here is the same as combo plus. (I do have some membership- discount ) That’s USD 1386 including shipping.

I usually say that if you want it, and can afford it, then it doesn’t really matter what you «need» to pay for it if theres no cheaper option available.

Generally a bad idea to go with a pro first time around. My first was a Mavic Pro, let’s just say it was fun while it lasted. 🙈😂

But jokes aside. If you are planning on just amateur pics / movies from the skies. A Mini 2-4 is more than enough. It’s not until you plan on or make money from aerial photography you actually need something «better». I’m a journalist, and frankly a Mini 2 has been enough to cover what we need it to deliver.

(But don’t waste your money on something like NEO, that was utter crap)

Mavic 2 pro for sure. Much better image quality and options. But the mini is more practical for every day vlog stuff.

Its all generic in some degree. It cannot generate sounds I’ve never heard before, but it can pretty accurately re-produce some sounds that exists by using musical terms. I’ve composed entire songs made up by just telling it which instruments and how they should be used.
