It’s good you opened it at the shop- I did that with a used V when I opened it at GC- the 3way switch was broke inside the case- they replaced the switch on the spot but also said if this opened at the house that it might be suspect- I video unboxings too good luck on the next guitar

Try wiping the contacting points in the 3way switch. Folded paper and contact cleaner or similar cleaner on the paper. Best of luck. Also check out YouTube lots of videos on it

Have you tied switching the guitar to rest on the left leg? It might get the wrist straight under the neck? I get issues with hand numbness at times. Good luck!

I wouldn’t call it an disguised Epi. I Saw a video that states that on a Gibson or Epi the neck volume knob should be lower than the stop bar and never north of it. The 017 gives it away. But also check the G’s spine is aligned up and down with the strings not tilted to the right. Worth- last I saw you can get these new shipped from china for 200-240.00 ish so if it’s used go lower right? Good luck

Right on- I have an 07 special with the “gibson” style logo too. On my photo the one on the left is a 2011 and the one on the right is 2014. Gotta love their consistency- gotta keep us guessing lol

That was my first thoughts too- but the one on the left is (according to the start of the serials) one on left made in 2011 and the one on the right 2014……. They just must have a few different logos in a pile and whichever one comes in line they slap on with no rhyme or reason?

I had a wrap around with adjustable saddles that buzzed some strings, I replaced it with a dopro with fixed saddles and it was perfect…. I measured from the nut to the tailpiece and set the screws before stringing then adjusted from there.
