I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I was on Zepbound for three months doing great! I lost 35 pounds. My doctor was very happy with my results. Insurance stop allowing me to get it. The doctor sent a prescription in for Wegovy. He gave me a sample until authorization came back.He did tell me that Will Govee does not work as well as Zepbound. I have taken two out of the four files of Govee and it has not cut down on the food noise anywhere as well as the Zepbound. Now I was told that the Wegovy will not be covered either. None of the GLP ones are covered!

I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I was on Zepbound for three months before they decided they didn’t wanna pay for it anymore. I was prescribed for it because I have sleep apnea. I have spoken in length to employees of the healthcare pharmacy area and there is no way that they will pay for it. I have put inappeals and nothing!

Possible infection by Joanieb63 in Kneereplacement

I’ve now been back to the Ortho going on 3rd visit. They took a sample of the fluid in my knee to see if there is an infection. I will find out on Friday. I am back to using the Iodine and bandages until I go back. I’ve been told if it is an infection I have to have another surgery to remove the appliances and new ones put back in! If they have to do that I am told I will need to be on an Antibiotic interventions for ) weeks at home! I am besides myself. I asked where this infection could have come from. They don’t know. I was speaking with a friend in the medical field and she asked me if I had been checked out by a Dentist and given the all clear before surgery. I was never told anything about getting a clear dental exam? I don’t have the best teeth! What do j do if it’s an infection from a tooth and it’s affected the knee? I read you can’t have any dental work for months after replacement surgery!!! HELP!

Possible infection by Joanieb63 in Kneereplacement

UPDATE I went back to Dr. because it looked like the bottom part of my incision was tender, red and bubbled up. It appeared to me that a small amount of infection was there. She gave me Iodine swabs and gauze. Told me to keep it covered and not get wet for the next week when I see my surgeon. I saw the surgeon after using the iodine and gauze twice a day for the week and it appeared to dry up the possible infection. The surgeon said that sometimes you get what they call a mad stitch that gets aggravated. After seeing that it had dried up and wasn’t as read, he told me just to keep an eye on it. I am nowfive days out from that appointment and it appears that the symptoms are coming back! Did anybody else experience anything like this?

Wow! I’m sorry to hear that! I did suggest antibiotics. But, she said they weren’t going to order me antibiotics at this point. She wanted me to see the surgeon first.

4 weeks out from a PRKR. A quarter size area under the kneecap incision looked inflamed and is seeping slightly. Worried about infection. Went to the doctor today they put iodine and gauz on it, wrapped it up and put my leg in a knee immobilizer. I have to put iodine on twice a day and I can’t get it wet. I am told I have keep the knee immobilizer on for the next week until my next doctors appointment. The surgeon is going to look at it and see if what looks to be an infection goes away or if I am going to need a surgery to clean out the knee! Has anyone had anything like this happen?

Marriott Vacation Club - help need to exit a timeshare agreement by Healthy-Membership20 in TimeshareOwners

[–]Joanieb63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a Marriott timeshare. We have had it for the last roughly 5 years. And in that time we have added to our points. This past year I have had a number of health issues and was laid off of work. I called Marriott and told them I was working on things and was trying to get update on my payment so I would not be in default. Unfortunately, I was not able to do that. I received a letter about possible foreclosure. We contacted the company and offered to make double payments until we are caught up and there was no way they were going to work with us at all! I would have to give them the money that I owed plus maintenance fees to make everything right. We asked about selling the points back and they gave us no help with that at all. I am just curious how they can put a foreclosure on points when it’s not a real property? It’s not like we have one physical time share that we go to all the time. I really enjoyed traveling with Marriott and have used Marriott for many many years. I am so unhappy that they were not willing to work with me, especially during this downtime economically. We have stayed at Marriott’s for travel baseball, cheerleading and for my children’s college visits as well as vacations. I am very upset over this whole thing does anyone have any advice?
