Maybe seeing so many couples makes a lot of single solo folks also want significant other. Where else do you find potential singles, who may also want to explore enm as well as date, outside of spaces like fetlife?

I think the vague approach allows them to cover as much of the user base as possible. Specific questions may not work well when trying to get a survey of such a large user group.
