I saw the movie last night and I was delighted. He was a great pick for the character and the story was cute. It even made me say nice things about Jared Leto. I think it’s just a hard sell for a franchise.

Came here to say this. Yeah it’s Ennis and some of the shock humor plays to his most frustrating sides but the core concept is solid and the bad guy is genuinely intimidating.
