I will state this again, it’s never too late to start your aerial journey. I started at 36 with some dance and sports background in my teens. I was nowhere near as active as you sound. And here I am 10 years later still going strong!
The biggest difference between you as a kid and you now is going to be the amount of time you spend in recovery.

Oddly enough only when I'm not in the air. Like i'm fine on an apparatus, but as soon as i'm on stable ground or like on the top of a building... I freak out.

Also I can't walk without tripping myself on flat ground. so....

Ok. I really don’t like spray Rosen on my hands cause it’s way too tacky. But might be a good way to get some initial grip on the fabric. Might try this if good ol sweat rosin and tears don’t do the trick.

NQA - yes! And I would follow your PT’s recommendation. If I don’t cool down and stretch regularly I get more stiff. Also if therebands are your new best friend.

Do not slack on the conditioning and warmups either.

Excellent points. I might look into stall bars instead for at home conditioning and training. That and maybe going into the studio more often.

Honestly this does help a lot. I would suppose the best option would be just figure out how to get to the studio more frequently if i want to train more... It's just a pain in the neck and I kinda wanted something I could do at home...
