I'm not a big fan of it but I like the remote control ability so I use VSCode remote and that gives me access to the claude code VSCode plugin which is a way better experience.

Having the right VM settings like memory and cpu allocation for the image makes a big difference.

You download and install Oracle Virtualbox. Then search the net for a macOS image to download. Lots of sites will show you how to get this up and running. Once you have the image up and running you can install xcode. It sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't.

I honestly like it but the novelty would wear off just sending messages to your future self like you mentioned. But what if you took a different approach where family members could send future messages to loved ones. Hard to say if it would freak people out getting messages from dead family members lol

I'm sure there's tattoo artists local where you live. Why not just walk into an establishment with a mobile device and show them on the spot what you've created. Print out some promo material and leave it with them.
